| Arbour semi solid guitar based on a thinline version of my acoustic Arbour model with cutaway. The body is made from some unknown wood (possibly afromosa) donated by a friend in the form of a shelf, with a solid centre block of some mahogany type wood, the top being sprung off this via a pair of pine struts. The neck is reclaim mahogany and the fingerboard Brazilian rosewood. Pickups are TV Jones Classic, hand wound by Tom Jones to resemble Gretsch Filtertrons. Wilkinson vibrato. Having played a strat for years, I borrowed the scale length, neck dimensions and layout of the controls for a smooth changeover to this guitar. |

| Stratocaster copy with alder body, maple neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. I wound the pickups at the house of friend and pickup maker, Bharat Khandekar. My daughter, Rose, has done a great paint job on the body. |

| Semi solid slide guitar. This was my second attempt at building a guitar many years ago and is known as 'The Egbox'. The body is a hollow maple box built around a mahogany through-neck. Recently treated to a Rose Lucas paint job. The pickups are P90s, hand wound by Kent Armstrong. I use 14-58 gauge strings with a high action. |

| Baritone Strat/Tele hybrid. The body is alder and strat-shaped, while the pickups and bridge come from a 1970 Fender Tele. The neck is mahogany from a library bookcase. The scale length is 700mm and it's tuned C-C. |

| Vox AC30 amp with treble boost. | ||
| Marshall JTM45 copy. I found an old burnt out amp with the right front panel and stripped the chassis down and rebuilt it with new components to the JTM45 circuit. Rob MacFarlane wired it up. I use this through a 2x12 Celestion G12H cab. I often run the two amps together using a Beringer DI box as a splitter. | ||
